Last Saturday (March 19), Him Lam International School Bac Ninh successfully organized “The First Open Day” with the participation of more than 50 families.

Attending the Open Day, parents and children not only had the chance to experience inquiry-based international-standard learning methods, but also had the opportunity to meet, and discuss directly with the school’s academic team, providing information about the curriculum, student-centered activities, and the admissions process.

During the event, Kindergarten students enjoyed learning the story of “Three Little Pigs” through activities taught by the transdisciplinary method, participating in interesting activities such as shape recognition, counting numbers, practicing cutting skills, and developing artistic thinking based on the story.

Meanwhile, primary students enjoyed creativity through Lego activities and the test is on the earthquake simulator. Students were given the opportunity to improve on their designs and also gain knowledge in the process.

Based on students’ ability, parents will be advised to choose between the International Program, using the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IBPYP), and the Integrated Program using IBPYP and Ministry of Education & Training Vietnam curriculum.

The First Open Day gave children and families in attendance interesting experiences in the modality of international education implementation. Him Lam International School Bac Ninh hopes that this event will help children get more excited about new learning methods. Also, parents can build trust in their children to start their learning journey at Him Lam International School Bac Ninh.

Open Day is expected to be held every 2 weeks to support counseling and increase the opportunity to experience an international learning environment for parents and children, therefore they can make the right decisions in their child’s educational journey.

In August 2022, Him Lam International School Bac Ninh will officially open its doors to welcome the first class of students with two levels of education: Kindergarten and Primary. Exclusively parents will receive extremely attractive incentives when visiting the school and applying for admission in March.
