Child Protection Policy

At Him Lam Bac Ninh International School, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. This policy outlines the school's commitment to protecting children and ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Key points:

School Commitment: We are committed to protecting all students, especially those who are more vulnerable in certain circumstances such as special education needs or difficult living conditions. Any abuse, neglect, or any harmful impact will be addressed immediately to ensure student safety.

Safe Practices and Recruitment: All school staff undergo a rigorous background check before working with students. The school also strictly adheres to guidelines on safe behavior and practices around students, and violations of these rules may result in disciplinary action against staff.

Use of Cameras/Mobile Phones: Staff are only permitted to use mobile phones or cameras for educational purposes, with parental consent for the use of children's images. Student images must be uploaded to the school's platform and deleted from personal devices immediately.

Curriculum and Equality: The school's curriculum promotes moral, social, and cultural development, preparing students for their future after graduation. We are committed to treating all students equally, without distinction of race, gender, religion, background, or social status, and actively encourage tolerance, combat bullying, and foster community engagement.

Training and Guidance: All staff receive regular training on child protection to ensure they are well-equipped to recognize and respond to any signs of abuse or neglect among students.

Partnering with Parents: Parents play a vital role in protecting children, and we work closely with them to ensure the best interests of our students. Concerns about a child's safety will be communicated to parents if they do not pose a danger to the child.

Reporting and Action: Any suspected abuse must be reported immediately to the designated Child Protection Team Leader, who will take appropriate action/measures, including coordination with authorities if necessary.
