YOUTH ROUND-TABLE CONFERENCE: International Academic Exchange Program

HIMLAMIS STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC FORUM

Recently, students from Him Lam International School – Bac Ninh (HIMLAMIS) participated in the Youth Round-table Conference as part of the International Academic Exchange Program hosted by the Centre of National History Education (Hong Kong). The program included schools from Hong Kong and Vietnam, creating a multi-faceted and highly inclusive academic dialogue space.

HIMLAMIS is honored to be one of two representatives from Vietnam selected to participate in the conference. The presence of our students at this international forum once again affirms the educational orientation of integration and global competency development that Him Lam International School - Bac Ninh is pursuing.

ACADEMIC DEBATE – GLOBAL THINKING

Within the framework of the program, HIMLAMIS student delegates confidently presented their views, actively participated in discussions and debates with international peers on global issues, especially climate change and sustainable development.

Through a simulated United Nations roundtable conference, students were placed in the role of young policymakers, directly researching, developing initiatives, and proposing action frameworks. In addition, the simulated international press conference provided a practical experience, requiring students to demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, and academic communication skills in English within a multicultural environment.

At the forum, HIMLAMIS students left a strong professional mark and received recognition from the Organizing Committee with outstanding awards:

EXPANDING CONNECTIONS – TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE COOPERATION

Beyond being just an exchange event, the program also opens up opportunities for long-term academic cooperation between participating institutions. In the near future, Him Lam International School - Bac Ninh will be honored to welcome a delegation from Hong Kong to visit and interact with the school.

This promises to be an important step in the journey of international connection, creating more opportunities for students to learn, share, and develop global competencies.
