THE LIGHT FROM WITHIN - “The Light From Within” is the theme of the 2026–2027 academic year at HIMLAMIS, reflecting the belief that every student carries a unique inner light - their own potential, personality, dreams, and a way of shining that cannot be replaced.

Inspired by the sunflower - the symbol of HIMLAMIS, THE LIGHT FROM WITHIN represents the light nurtured within every student: the light of knowledge, compassion, courage, and the aspiration to grow.

THE LIGHT FROM WITHIN - Every Student, A Unique Light

At HIMLAMIS, education is a journey that empowers students to discover themselves, embrace new experiences, take on challenges, and gradually take ownership of their own paths.

This spirit was present from the very first days of the new academic year. BACK TO SCHOOL 2026–2027 began with reunions, smiles, and the excitement of returning to school, meeting teachers and friends, and embarking on a new journey together.

From familiar faces returning after the summer break to students stepping into a new environment for the first time, each student brought their own stories, aspirations, and goals for the year ahead. Together, they created an energetic beginning to the 2026–2027 academic year.

LIGHT WALL - Where Dreams Are Put Into Words

One of the highlights of BACK TO SCHOOL was the LIGHT WALL, where every student had the opportunity to write down what they hoped to accomplish in the new academic year.

It could be a goal they wanted to achieve, a challenge they wanted to overcome, or a dream they hoped to turn into reality. Each note placed on the LIGHT WALL served as a reminder that the things written down today are meant to become actions tomorrow.

The LIGHT WALL therefore became the starting point of the THE LIGHT FROM WITHIN journey - a space where each student’s unique light is awakened, nurtured, and given the opportunity to shine.

With the message “Empower to Lead - Believe to Become”, HIMLAMIS hopes to inspire every student to enter the new academic year with confidence in themselves and the initiative to embrace the opportunities ahead.

From students taking their first steps into school to those preparing for important milestones, every journey begins with one shared belief: believe in yourself, discover your abilities, develop your unique strengths, and become the best version of yourself.
